Get Started with CrossFit: Foundations

We invite you to come by for a free consultation or you can opt to observe one of our CrossFit classes! If you wish to try out a class, the first class is $20 and if you don’t like it, all it cost you was the nominal fee of $20 and at the very least, you will get a great workout. However, if you don’t try it, you could be missing an opportunity that could be life-changing! If you do decide you like it, we will apply the $20 toward Foundations or a membership.

During the consultation, you can meet the coaches, learn what we do at Moro Performance, discover all of the programs we offer, and share your goals and concerns. If it turns out you want to give us a try, we can discuss our membership options with you.

Foundations Classes

Our Foundations sessions are recommended for beginners to CrossFit. The sessions meet 3 times per week for 2 weeks or 2 times per week for 3 weeks, and you can start at any time as long as you complete all 6 sessions. Foundations is offered in a 1-on-1 setting to ensure you are getting the attention you deserve as a beginner, and that you adequately learn all techniques that you’ll experience in our CrossFit classes. The 1-on-1 setting also allows for scheduling flexibility! Because these are scheduled like personal training sessions, you can train at whatever time works best for you.

Attendance at each session is mandatory for the completion of the program, so if you know in advance you cannot make a session, let us know and we can reschedule something for you.

You will learn the foundational CrossFit movements and experience the different types of workouts we program at Mequon CrossFit Mortalis. Please understand that all movements have modifications and we are happy to work with all abilities!

Additionally, during these sessions, our coaches will be getting to know and understand YOU. The better we get to know you and your movement patterns, the faster we can help you reach your goals.

If you prefer to pursue personal training instead of our Foundations sessions, we have a variety of training packages that you can use to segue into our CrossFit classes. Upon your consultation, we can discuss all options with you.

Test Out

If you are already familiar with CrossFit methodologies and have trained in another affiliate, you may be eligible for Mequon CrossFit Mortalis’ Test Out option. You can select to drop-in to one of our classes ($20) and we will observe how you complete various movements throughout class. If we feel as though you are a competent CrossFitter you can bypass our 1-on-1 Foundations program and the $20 will be applied toward your membership. However, if we feel you are not ready for our regular classes, we will ask that you complete Foundations.

If you are able to demonstrate competency in CrossFit movements, you may wish to consider this Test Out opportunity. Please arrange your Test Out with a coach ahead of time!
